Viennese Coffee

Soft cream greets your lips as the essence of orange tickles your nose. Just in time for the cooler weather.

Viennese coffee


  • 120 grams semi-sweet chocolate
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 cup whipping cream
  • 4 cups hot strong coffee
  • whipped cream
  • orange rind

Melt chocolate in a heavy saucepan over a low heat

Stir in sugar and whipping cream

Blend in coffee with a whisk, half a cup at a time

Continue to blend until creamy

Top with a dollop of whipped cream and grated orange rind
