Classic Christmas Coffee

A festive coffee with a kick…

classic christmas coffee

  • 45ml whiskey
  • 2 1/2 tsp maple syrup
  • 3/4 cup hot, fresh espresso or strong coffee
  • 1/4 cup whipping cream, unwhipped for garnish
  • 1 candy cane for garnish


  1. Combine the whiskey and 1 1/2 teaspoons of maple syrup in a heated mug or cup
  2. Fill the rest of the way with the coffee
  3. In a small bowl, combine the whipping cream with the remaining 1tsp maple syrup, and whip until soft peaks form
  4. Spoon the flavoured whipped cream on top of the coffee mixture and top with the candy cane.
